Progress

Slowly but surely the blog is taking form. I added a progress bar for my screenplay "Where Are You Seventeen?". It is one I wrote a while ago and decided to do a much needed rewrite after getting notes from a fellow screenwriter. He was in New York because the film from his first screenplay premiered at the Tribeca Film Festival. Our meeting prompted me to read it again. I hadn't picked it up in probably two years and I saw a lot of room for improvement. The progress bar is a way for me to guilt myself into working on the rewrite. I figure if I am publicly humiliated by how little I write I might actual do some work instead of making myself another coffee.

I want to thank David Anaxagoras at Man Bytes Hollywood for the progress bar code and the inspiration to get this blog up and running.

More to comeā€¦need coffee!

Hey, the blog looks great -- very slick. Love the title.

It is surprising rewarding when you get to move that little progress bar over a couple of ticks. Plan a big reward for when you reach the end!

Dave,

The plan is to get it in shape for the next Nicholl Fellowship which is around this time next year. That and to show it to some interested parties. A big reward would be doing well in either one of those arenas.
