Blog Alterations

I will not be making an announcement everytime I add something to the sidebar but since I'm making some alterations here goes. The New York City Final Cut Users Group finally updated their website and will be added under zeroes and ones. Most cities have their own chapter so do a search for your city if you don't live in NYC.

I'm a little tired of the term "independent". It's been beaten and pulverized into the ground to the point where it has no real meaning in the filmmaking community. The emergence of the mini-studio under a parent company has blurred the line so much the definition connotes nothing. I changed that in my header so it just reads information on screenwriting and filmmaking. Like Stan the Man says..'nuff said.
